Victoria’s Jim Pattison Auto Group’s new flagship dealership is a three storey Toyota
dealership and a two storey Lexus dealership. The 75,000 sq. ft. building is clad in
glass and metal panels. As many as 30 cars can be showcased through 22 foot high
showroom windows that look out onto the corner of Finlayson and Douglas Streets.
A full height glazed opening car “spine” on the third floor displays up to ten cars
parallel to Finlayson Street. The dealership includes an enclosed two lane service
drive through and 32 state-of-the-art service bays, the majority of which are located on
the third floor. A mezzanine in the showroom sits above three new car delivery bays
and provides an aerial view of the showroom from the cafe and administrative offices.
The creative design takes full advantage of the sloping site, and allows easy access to
parking spaces and the automatic car wash located on the roof of the building.
