2950 Jutland Road is a six storey Class AA office and retail building that sits on the
water’s edge on the Selkirk Waterfront. The building features curved architecture,
robust and high quality materials and an expansive glass curtain wall which
showcases stunning views of the Gorge Waterway. The main floor features retail
space and the upper floors accommodate office space and a pedestrian bridge
which connects to an adjacent building. Building amenities include underground
parking, secure bicycle storage and change facilities. This project is targeting LEED
Gold certification. The most notable green feature is the ocean loop exchange
system. This underwater geothermal system uses the water temperature from the
Gorge Waterway to aid in the heating and cooling of the building. Automatic blinds
work in conjunction with a solar sensor and are integrated with the building’s HVAC
system to help the building use less energy.
